About the Farm::

Fazenda Paciência is located in the State of Rio de Janeiro, County of Paraíba do Sul, District of Werneck, 120km away from the city of Rio de Janeiro. The access from Rio de Janeiro, Juiz de Fora, Belo Horizonte or São Paulo and Southern region is done on paved road until the main gate of the property.

It holds 883 hectares of pastures for the cultivation of hay for commercial goals. The pastures are adequate for horse, dairy and beef cattle breeding.

The reforestation of "Citriodora" Eucaliptus has approximately 100 hectares. The wood is of excellent quality and it is marketed rough or processed, used for construction, fences and gates.

The cultivated cattle pastures are composed of the following varieties: Brachiária Decubens, Brachiária Brizanta, Colonião and Jaguará. Four hectares were reserved for hayfields of the Napier and Cameroum species.

The Property has 82.000m2 of dams and ponds endowed with emptying floodgates, especially built for fish farming. It has additionally 22 water reserves (one in each pasture division).

The internal road net extension is 22km, with its own gravel supply permanently used in the conservation, besides many paved spaces.

The farm facilities include the maner house, a stud for 22 stabled animals and a swimming pool for exercise, the central office of the farm, a dairy stable, carpentry, fish plants, a manufactured ration mill, two complete corrals with scale and restraining logs for beef cattle, garages, silos and 15 houses for the farm employees.

The property is additionally provided of a high tension transmission line, lowering substation and a low tension distribution net for the whole farm, including the employees' houses.

The farm has its productive activities directed to fish farming or aquaculture, cattle and reforestation.
